The Scriptures tell us that our Heavenly Father knew us even before the foundations of the world… the person that God saw did not have the sins of fear, anxiety, stress, rejection, anger, resentment, bitterness, trauma, broken hearts, etc.. in them.  These sins are additions to our lives from the kingdom of the enemy, Satan.  By the power of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, these spirits of the evil one can be removed and the damage they have done, healed.  This is the ministry of Restoration. These  Ministry Sheets deal with Restoration.

Mankind has a problem, it is called sin.  Christians have a problem, it is called sin.  But . . .but,  didn’t Jesus’ death on the cross take care of sin?  It is time for a reality check. Have you noticed a lack of sin in the Christian community recently? Paul also noticed the problem in 2Cor 7:1ff. Many Christians believe that when they invite Jesus into their lives and are born again, that they are then without sin.  That is a critical misunderstanding of the sin transaction between God and man that took place on the cross.

The Penalty and the Problem

Jesus’ death on the cross took care of the penalty for sin; the wrath of a righteous God in His judgment for sin; it did not take care of the problem of sin in our lives as we walk on this earth. The problem of sin is illustrated by Paul in Romans 7 and Jesus in Mark 7.  It is clear from these two passages that there is a problem with sin that dwells inside of man. That problem is a being, a presence that is Satan, the enemy of God, that dwells in the spirit of man. To understand sin, it is helpful to understand what happened in the Garden of Eden.

The Blue Card

Realizing the importance of immediately dealing with evil spirits in our lives as the the Holy Spirit causes us to “recognize” the enemy, we have developed a small 4” x 6” card that you can carry in your pocket or purse, immediately available to you. This “blue card” is the ministry/prayer template for the R’s to freedom as outlined in this pamphlet. It will lead you through a process that will assist the Saints in recovering their freedom in Christ Jesus. You will find it is a handy ministry template for deliverance ministry – removing the enemy from our lives and the lives of those we minister to.

The blue card is not a mantra, a formula or a magic spell to get something to happen in your life.  It is just a simple template that God can use to lead you through the steps to come free and be made whole. Use it under his leading and go where He leads.

Let’s say you have “recognized” an evil spirit in your life.  Now it is time to deal with it using the little card.  The blue card is divided into three sections:

  • Appropriation,
  • Deliverance and
  • Healing

Trauma is a life experience that causes a wounding – it is not an evil spirit.  Let me repeat; it is a life-event that wounds; that causes physical, psychological, or spiritual damage to a person.   A trauma can become a door point that allows the enemy to enter into a person’s life and to maintain a stronghold either in that person’s life or to travel down through the subsequent generations.

In a trauma there is the pain (physical, emotional and/or spiritual) which, unless immediately forgiven, normally brings fear and fear usually brings resentment, retaliation and anger – so now bitterness has a strong foothold and can lead to additional spirits coming in. Trauma is the door point for their entrance. So, in trauma there is the wounding and then there is the enemy coming in. Both events must be dealt with for effective ministry.

We have developed two ministry templates that are available to you on our web site “www.BeingChanged.com” to assist you with trauma ministry – the “Green Card” and the “Blue Card”.  In trauma ministry, the green card handles the wounding and then points to the blue card to handle the enemy’s presence.  This ministry sheet will acquaint you with their use.

The Green Card

Realizing the importance of immediately dealing with evil spirits in our lives as the the Holy Spirit causes us to “recognize” the enemy, we have developed a small 4” x 6” card that you can carry in your pocket or purse, immediately available to you. This “blue card” is the ministry/prayer template for the R’s to freedom as outlined in this pamphlet. It will lead you through a process that will assist the Saints in recovering freedom in all three dimensions. You will find it is a handy ministry template for deliverance ministry – removing the enemy from our lives and the lives of those we minister to.

You are a creation of God, fearfully and wonderfully made. As you prayerfully read the Scriptures, you will see that God knew you before He laid the foundations of the earth, that He knew every detail of your creation, even the number of hairs on your head, that He wove you together in your mother’s womb, and that He was there when you were born. You will also read of another “you” who was conceived in sin and from birth has no righteousness of your own. Which one are you? You are both; there are two of you.

  • The Real You
  • The You Plus Sin

The Two You’s

The Real You

In the heart of God, there is The Real You, the you that He chose before the foundations of the world, perfected in Christ Jesus.

There is a bumper sticker that sums it up: “God don’t make no junk!” All of God’s creation was perfectly made; you too are fearfully and wonderfully made. There are no exceptions. You were created in the image of God, a shadow, perfect, with the potential of becoming real as God Himself is real. This is the real you.

We will call that you, “YOU.”

The You Plus Sin

Then, there is the other you. To that perfect creation of YOU is added “everything else.” What has been added? Sin has been added. Everything of the Kingdom of Satan that is presently in your life has been added. God did not create you with sin attached. Sin has been added by the enemy: sin that comes down through the generations, sin that comes in through trauma, sin from your willfulness and disobedience, sin from your cooperating God’s enemy. Sin is the “everything else” that has been added. Sin was there when you were born.

We will call that you, “YOU Plus Sin.”

You were created perfect in Christ Jesus and were born in sin. At the same time that God saw the YOU in creation, He also saw the YOU Plus and had already made provisions for your redemption. God presently has a specific plan tailored to YOU Plus to deal with the “everything else” that is in your life, and also a specific plan to deal with the YOU, to change you into the likeness of Jesus Christ. This plan is both Restoration and Transformation.. Transformation deals with the “You” and Restoration deals with the “You Plus Sin.”

The Separation Card

The concept of Separation is critical to enabling the Saints to remove the enemy and his works from their lives. When the saints realize who they are in Christ Jesus and that sin has bee added, they also realize that sin (the enemy of God) can be removed. To that end we have developed a small 4” x 6” card that you can carry in your pocket or purse, immediately available to you. This “Separation Card” is a focus device for ministry/prayer as outlined in the pamphlet above. The Card can be a focus device that can be used in ministry that will assist the Saints in recovering freedom from the enemy.

What is a Broken Heart?

Many Christians today have a broken heart and do not even know it.  They feel unclean and have a sense of wounding and loss, a sense of hollowness. They feel an anger that does not seem to have a source or focus; they do not even know why they feel that way. They know there is something broken in their lives, but do not know what it is.

Out of a broken heart comes perfectionism and driven-ness.  While you were growing up you would do anything to get mom or dad to notice you, to recognize your uniqueness and your accomplishments.  You felt invisible and insignificant.  You would do anything to get them to notice you, to acknowledge your presence and your contribution to their lives.

And as you get older in life, some of you – probably all of you – experience and participate in the traumas of life. Relationships with children or spouses might be strained. You may be anxious about finances.   Maybe your workplace and your job becomes a source of significant trauma in your life.  Perhaps you have lost a job and are struggling to find another.  Each traumatic experience and each wound becomes a significant stone that is formed and stored in that knapsack. As life progresses that knapsack becomes heavier and heavier. That knapsack represents a broken heart – with every wounding of life, your heart becomes more broken.

What is The Ministry of the Mother’s Love?   When a mother does not love her child properly with the Love of God coming from a personal relationship with her Heavenly Father, that lack of nurture is often a source of a broken heart and ultimately, separation from an intimate relationship with God.

The Ministry of the Mother’s Love addresses that situation in a person’s life.

Do you have bitterness in your life?  Most people would say, “No, I don’t have any bitterness.”  However if asked, “Do you have people you haven’t forgiven, are you resentful and angry…?” the answer might be, “Well, yes I do have some of those.”

Bitterness, the Strongman and His Underlings

The Strongman – The strong man is our enemy; Satan’s palace is the person he inhabits. The armor spoken of is the underling spirits brought into his palace holding Bitterness in a place of protection and causing destruction (Luke 11:21-22). Stronger than he is the one walking in God’s authority, taking hold of the enemy of God.

The Underlings – Bitterness is a spiritual strongman that has many underlings that do his bidding. The seven primary underlings of Bitterness include:

  • Unforgiveness
  • Resentment
  • Retaliation
  • Anger
  • Hate
  • Violence
  • Murder

Each of these leads to the next and becomes more violent.  The key to defeating Bitterness is to first deal with forgiving others and asking forgiveness of others.  God commands us to forgive those who have hurt us, to ask forgiveness of those we have wronged and repent for our bitterness. We must want to be free of the underling sins of bitterness and deal with them. For more on Forgiveness, see the Forgiveness Ministry Sheet further down on this webpage.

What is the standard for Forgiveness?

Forgiving everyone, everything, all of the time, right now.

The Scripture tell us:

Forgiveness: It is not a suggestion; it is a commandment from God!

If we do not forgive others, God will not forgive us.

Forgiving others is absolutely essential to a functioning Christian Walk.

A  spirit of unforgiveness in our hearts  says, “I am not willing to forgive the offense against me. I will remember what has been done to me. I will never forgive that person.” This is an evil spirit from the enemy’s kingdom that must be removed if you are to have freedom from your sin and guilt. To get that freedom, you must participate in all four aspects of forgiveness.

The Four Aspects of Forgiveness

  1. Forgive those who have wronged you.
  2. Ask forgiveness from those you have wronged.
  3. Forgive yourself.
  4. Forgive God?? (Read the Ministry Sheet and see what this means.)

What is fear?

Fear means being afraid, worried, anxious, concerned that bad things are going to happen. Fear is always a speculation; Fear is projecting the past and the present into the future.

You cannot argue someone out of his or her fears. Logical arguments don’t work, because Fear can be very logical.

Anything that is not love towards us can take us into fear.  Accusation or bitterness can be an open door to fear. Self-bitterness, not feeling good about ourselves, insecurity or not feeling safe can feed fear. Rejection, or not being loved can send us into tremendous fear. Love and fear cannot coexist at the same time; one will win.

Fear is based on a lack of trust in God. Now, Fear and faith are equal, they both project into the future and both demand to be fulfilled. Significant levels of Fear can result in something called the General Adaption Syndrome. (More on this in the Ministry Sheet.)

The General Adaption Syndrome

 In GAS:

  • Fear first manifests itself as (a) fight or flight reaction
  • Then it progresses to a resistance reaction
  • And finally it culminate in the exhaustion stage.

Our body and our hypothalamus (part of our brain) responds to Fear by producing stress hormones (adrealin and cortisol) in reaction to fear. Our bodies were not designed to live in the continual, ongoing stress of fear.

Fear is a sin

Ultimately, Fear at its root is a spiritual problem. The medical and psychiatric community acknowledges that fear, anxiety and stress cause many diseases.  Fear is a lack of trust in God. Fear is a lack of faith. And because of this, fear is a sin.

The Unloving spirit has a plan for your life, a plan to destroy you, all of you, body, soul and spirit. It brings torment to you as no other spirit is able to do. It prevents you from giving love to others or receiving love from others. Unloving is just the opposite of all that God has ordained us to be. We are to love God, love others, and love ourselves. The unloving spirit’s work is to separate you from God, from yourself and from others.  It would then have you hate yourself and have you believe that God loves others but not you.

How does the unloving spirit find his way into our lives? The unloving spirit works through all of the strongmen; particularly Bitterness and Rejection. If/when Bitterness or Rejection comes about in your life, somewhere down the road, you begin to reject yourself and feel bitterness toward yourself. This allows the unloving spirit to begin its work in your life.

The unloving spirit might be in your life because it was with your generations past and wants to continue its ugly work in you. Abuse may bring the unloving spirit into your life. Maybe you have lived with another who is full of the Unloving spirit and now you are saying and experiencing the same things as that person.

What is an Unloving Spirit?  Unloving is that spirit who makes you feel that you do not want to be touched, hugged, kissed, feel loved, feel accepted or receive any affection which would make you feel loved. He also does not want you to be able to give true love to yourself, others, or God. Here are some of the thoughts you might have if you have an Unloving spirit: “I am a loser; people do not like me and even hate me; God does not like me; He only does that for other people; I am unworthy; I hate myself.” There’s a hurt within that is not explainable.

What is a sign of the Unloving spirit’s presence?  The unloving spirit is a very selfish spirit and always focuses you on yourself. Is it hard to care for others?  Are you always talking about yourself, your needs and problems? You do not care to hear about good or bad days; you’re selfish.

In ministry, we have found the Bastard’s Curse present when a person was conceived out of wedlock. Spirits of rejection, abandonment and fear come into the child even in the womb under these circumstances. The child knows whether or not they were a wanted baby.

The Scripture references this curse in Deut. 23:2: “A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the Lord; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the Lord.

It has been suggested that the wording “bastard’s curse” is harsh and perhaps “fatherless curse” should be used instead.

This is not really a “Fatherless Curse”, someone born without a father… but a curse, almost always intergenerational in nature, in which the child is conceived out of wedlock.  For the bastard, it is a sin unknowingly and unwillingly participated in, but brings the spirit of shame and guilt (rape comes under the same category with the same consequences) . The name is harsh and might better be spoken of as something else… but I believe it is important that it not be a euphemism that is misleading.

Theophostics is a version of theta brain wave healing. This healing model does not use the word “energy,” but asks the recipient of the ministry to bring the image of Jesus into the remembrance of a trauma in order to bring emotional healing. It takes a worldly healing model and puts it in Christian clothing. It uses a form of hypnosis and is a Christianized version of guided imagery.

Theta brainwave healing models in general attempt to create connections between a person and some sort of “energy” to bring about healing or a sense of well-being. (The use of the term “energy” is a red flag for occultism.)

There are 4 types of brainwaves; God has created these brain waves to allow you to function as an intelligent being.

  • Alpha: allow you to comprehend, assimilate and understand things that you perceive from your five physical senses to work
  • Beta: allow you to integrate and understand the inward in terms of the external; i.e. the pathway from spirit to soul. It involves thought and feelings.
  • Delta: utilized by your body in patterns of sleep
  • Theta: are the pathway of any spiritual beings, the Holy Spirit or evil spirits, to get access to your physical being in thought. God allows us to understand both good and evil since the garden of Eden . Heb. 5:14—“ But strong meat belongs to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.”

The brainwave activity dealt with in theophostics is theta. Theta activity has a frequency of 3.5 to 7.5 Hz and is classed as “slow” activity. It is seen in connection with creativity, intuition, daydreaming, and fantasizing and is a repository for memories, emotions, sensations. Theta waves are strong during internal focus, meditation, prayer, and spiritual awareness. It reflects the state between wakefulness and sleep. Relates to the subconscious.
